Abstract

"In ihrem IAB-Kurzbericht haben Torsten Lietzmann und Claudia Wenzig untersucht, ob und wie die Arbeitszeitwünsche von Frauen und Männern vom Haushaltskontext abhängen. Darüber hinaus liegt der Fokus des Berichts vor allem auf den Einstellungen von 18- bis 60-jährigen Frauen zur Erwerbstätigkeit von Müttern und zur externen Betreuung von Kindern. Die Ergebnisse beruhen auf der Haushaltsbefragung 'Arbeitsmarkt und soziale Sicherung' (PASS); für diesen Bericht wurden die Antworten von 6.500 Frauen und 5.600 Männern in Deutschland ausgewertet."
