Abstract

"Im Zuge der fortschreitenden Digitalisierung können immer mehr Tätigkeiten, die bisher von Menschen ausgeübt werden, potenziell durch Computer oder computergesteuerte Maschinen ersetzt werden. Dieses sogenannte Substituierbarkeitspotenzial ist von Beruf zu Beruf sehr unterschiedlich. Da die Häufigkeit bestimmter Berufe mit der regionalen Wirtschaftsstruktur variiert, ist das Substituierbarkeitspotenzial auch von Region zu Region sehr unterschiedlich. Dies haben Untersuchungen des Regionalen Forschungsnetzes (RFN) des IAB ergeben, die in der Reihe IAB-Regional erschienen sind." (Autorenreferat, IAB-Doku)
