Abstract

"When Frank-Jürgen Weise, former manager of the private sector, became chairman of the Federal Labour Office, it was said to be a bold experiment. Entrepreneurial behaviour within the public contract was his motto from the very beginning. Today his managerial qualities are more in demand than ever - even abroad. Meanwhile Weise has also become leader of the Federal Office of Migration and Refugess and Chair of the Board of the European Network of Public Labour market Services. For the IAB-Forum he explains which goals he means to achieve within his functions." (Author's abstract, IAB-Doku) ((en))
