Abstract

"Mit dem IAB-Betriebspanel wurde vor 20 Jahren erstmals ein für die gesamte Wirtschaft repräsentativer Datensatz zur Erforschung der Nachfrageseite des Arbeitsmarktes aufgebaut. An den Ergebnissen der jährlichen Befragung von rund 16.000 Betrieben in Ost- und Westdeutschland hat nicht nur die Wissenschaft großes Interesse. Sie unterstützen auch die Steuerung der Vermittlungs- und Beratungstätigkeiten der Bundesagentur für Arbeit, wie Lutz Bellmann im Interview erklärt. Politik, Tarifparteien und Verbände nutzen die Analysen ebenfalls zur Entscheidungsfindung." (Autorenreferat, IAB-Doku)
