Abstract

"Das Regionale Forschungsnetz ist eine einzigartige Erscheinung in der Forschungslandschaft. Rund 44 Wirtschaftswissenschaftlerinnen, Soziologen, Politologen und wissenschaftliche Fachkräfte des IAB arbeiten in den zehn Regionaldirektionen der Bundesagentur für Arbeit, koordiniert vom Nürnberger Regionalbüro des IAB. Sie beraten die Praktiker vor Ort und erforschen die regionalen Arbeitsmärkte. Im Interview erklären der Leiter des Forschungsnetzes, Stefan Fuchs, und der Mitarbeiter in der Regionaldirektion Bayern, Lutz Eigenhüller, die Entstehungsgeschichte des Forschungsnetzes und wie sie den Spagat zwischen Beratung und Forschung täglich meistern."
