Abstract

"Nowadays, lifelong learning and further training have become essential if one is to survive on the labour market and participate in social life. However participation in further training is not seen as a matter of course. Often it is not just the cost of further training which prevents employees from participating: a person's own initiative and his/her awareness of the necessity of training are also often missing."
