Abstract

"Im Dezember 2001 wurde vom Bundesministerium für Verkehr, Bau- und Wohnungswesen (BMVBW) das Projekt 'Forschungs-Informations-System Verkehr, Städte- bau, Raumordnung, Wohnungswesen und Aufbau Ost' (kurz ' FIS ') ins Leben gerufen. Es hat das Ziel, zu wichtigen und aktuellen Fragen der politischen Handlungsfelder des Ministeriums aktuelle Forschungsergebnisse zu sammeln, nutzergerecht aufzubereiten und über das Internet in übersichtlicher Form zu präsentieren. Als eines von derzeit siebzehn am FIS beteiligten Forschungsinstituten bearbeitet das IAB den Themenbereich 'Aufbau Ost - Arbeitsmarkt- und Sozialpolitik'." (Autorenreferat, IAB-Doku)
