Offene Stellen - ein bewährtes Berichtssystem soll ausgebaut werden

Abstract

Um nicht nur einen Überblick über die bei den Arbeitsagenturen gemeldeten offenen Stellen zu haben, werden seit 1989 Unternehmen und Verwaltungen befragt, welche nicht gemeldeten offenen Stellen existieren. Die Befragungen erbrachten wichtige Daten über die Höhe, Struktur und Entwicklung des gesamten Stellenangebots, die Vakanzraten sowie Indikatoren für den Mismatch am Arbeitsmarkt. Um ein europäisches Berichtssystem für die gesamteuropäische Arbeitsmarktentwicklung zu entwickeln, plant das Europäische Statistische Amt EUROSTAT vierteljährliche Erhebungen durchzuführen. Das IAB hat eine Machbarkeitsstudie erarbeitet, um eine derartige Erhebung methodisch fundiert und repräsentativ durchführen zu können. Ab 2005 wird in Deutschland testweise damit begonnen, bei rund 58.000 Unternehmen per Fragebogen und Telefoninterview die von EUROSTAT benötigten Daten zu ermitteln. (IAB)
