Abstract

Laut dem Weltklimarat Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) sollen weltweite kontinentale und ozeanische Beobachtungsdaten zeigen, dass zahlreiche natürliche Systeme auf regionale Klimaänderungen reagieren. Die Vereinten Nationen haben sich daher zum Ziel gesetzt Maßnahmen zur Anpassung an den Klimawandel in Angriff zu nehmen. Mit der Ratifizierung der Klimarahmenkonvention 1992 verpflichtet sich jedes Mitgliedsland – und damit auch Deutschland - Klimaanpassung auf nationaler Ebene umzusetzen. Im Rahmen dieser Studie wurden verschiedene, nicht verbindliche und auf Landes- oder Bundesebene verfasste deutsche Anpassungsstrategien an den Klimawandel analysiert. Ziel der Arbeit ist es, die in den Strategien verwendeten Steuerungsinstrumente zu bestimmen, mit denen waldbauliche Maßnahmen zur Anpassung an den Klimawandel im Handlungsfeld Forstwirtschaft implementiert werden sollen.
