Abstract

Ο αειφορικός τουρισμός αποτέλεσε βασική ιδέα τόσο για τους μελετητές του τουρισμού όσο και για την τουριστική βιομηχανία από τις αρχές της δεκαετίας του 1990. Η παρούσα εργασία εξετάζει τη συμβολή της χρήσης του διαδικτύου στον αειφορικό τουρισμό ορεινών περιοχών επικεντρώνοντας στο χιονοδρομικό κέντρο Ελατοχωρίου. Συγκεκριμένα, προτείνεται ένα μοντέλο πρότυπης ιστοσελίδας σε περιεχόμενο και δομημένο σύμφωνα με τις αρχές σχεδιασμού ιστοσελίδων. Το συγκεκριμένο μοντέλο της ιστοσελίδας που προτείνεται μπορεί να χρησιμοποιηθεί από την τοπική αυτοδιοίκηση, ενώ παράλληλα επιδιώκει να συνδυάσει όλα τα επιθυμητά χαρακτηριστικά περιεχομένου μαζί με την αισθητική, τη λειτουργικότητα, την εύκολη πλοήγηση, την εργονομία και τους μικρούς χρόνους φόρτωσης, δηλαδή γνωρίσματα επιθυμητά μιας καλής ιστοσελίδας. Στη συνέχεια εφαρμόζεται για τον Δήμο Πιερίων του Νομού Πιερίας, όπου η υπάρχουσα ιστοσελίδα παρουσιάζει ελλείψεις ως προς το περιεχόμενο της.
