Abstract

Wirtschaftswissenschaftler bilden eine der zentralen Akademikergruppen in der privaten Wirtschaft. Konjunkturelle und zum Teil strukturelle Verschiebungen haben auch hier in den letzten Jahren zu einem verstõrkten Wettbewerb und h÷heren Anforderungen gef³hrt. Aufgrund der gro▀en Anwendungsbreite ihrer Qualifikationen finden Wirtschaftsakademiker dennoch ³berdurchschnittlich gute Berufschancen vor. Sie sind einerseits vergleichsweise seltener von Arbeitslosigkeit betroffen und andererseits ³berdurchschnittlich hõufig in den hierarchisch h÷chsten Positionen vertreten. Auf der Basis verschiedener Studien und Statistiken wird im vorliegenden Beitrag die berufliche Situation und die Entwicklung von Wirtschaftsakademikern differenziert analysiert und ein Ausblick auf die zuk³nftigen Beschõftigungsperspektiven gegeben.
