Abstract

Ein halbes Jahrhundert nach Erscheinen von von Neumann und Morgensterns "The Theory of games and Economic Behavior" wurde der Nobelpreis an drei Wissenschaftler, John F. Nash, John C. Hasanyi und Reinhard Selten, vergeben, die ma▀geblich zur Weiterentwicklung des spieltheoretischen Ansatzes beitrugen. Der vorliegende Beitrag stellt die wesentlichen Ergebnisse ihrer Arbeit vor und bietet dabei auch eine Einf³hrung in einen zwar begrenzten, aber doch sehr zentralen Bereich der Spieltheorie und ihrer Anwendung in der Wirtschaftstheorie und der Wirtschaftspraxis. Dar³ber hinaus werden einige spieltheoretische Fragestellungen er÷rtert, von denen zu erwarten ist, da▀ sie f³r die zuk³nftige Forschung von Bedeutung sind.
