Abstract

Mit Hilfe spieltheoretischer ansõtze wurde versucht, die Grundgedanken der Neuen Institutions÷konomik auf eine formale Basis zu stellen. es wird untersucht, inwieweit dabei Erkenntnisfortschritte erzielt wurden. Der Schwerpunkt wird auf die Fundierung der Transaktionskosten÷konomiek gelegt. Die formale Abbildung f³hrt zu einem tieferen Verstõndnis der zuvor eher vage formulierten Zusammenhõnge. Dabei wird jedoch festgestellt, da▀ die spieltheoretische Formalisierung im allgemeinen weder grundlegend neue Einsichten erbrachte noch die formale Modellierung die verbale Argumentation ersetzen kann. Die Statik der betrachteten Modelle stellt insofern kein Problem dar, als die Ansõtze mit Hilfe der Konzeption temporõrer Gleichgewichte mit evolutorischen Prozessen vereinbar sind.
