Abstract

In this paper, we study F-contractions in the setting of generalized metric spaces and introduce a novel concept of unified generalized F-weak contractions for self-mappings. We establish existence and uniqueness results for fixed points associated with this class of contractive mappings. These results not only extend but also unify several recent contributions in fixed point theory, thereby providing a broader and more refined framework for existing approaches. Finally, the applicability of the obtained results is demonstrated through illustrative applications to integral equations.
