Abstract

Økonomisk har Fyn i mange år tabt terræn til det øvrige land som bl.a. påvist i en række rapporter. Erhvervsministeriet offentliggjorde således i oktober 2000 Erhvervsredegørelse Jylland Fyn. Denne redegørelse pegede bl.a. på, at Fyns erhvervsliv var præget af sektorer med relativt lavteknologiske produkter og processer og sammenhængende hermed, at der blev beskæftiget relativt få med en længere videregående uddannelse.
