Hovedstrømninger i det 21. århundredes økonomi

Abstract

Studerende har det jo med at spørge sig selv (og deres lærere), hvorfor de skal have alt det besvær med at studere vanskelig økonomisk teori, når det for dem at se ligger meget langt fra den virkelighed, som de ofte interesserer sig for. De opfatter meget store dele af teorien som rent hårkløveri og synes, at hvad der ikke vides om konsekven - serne af alle mulige og umulige antagelser og om alle mulige mærkelige ligevægts - begreber, ikke er værd at vide, bogstaveligt talt. Teorien er uhyre indviklet, men sam - tidig optræder der ofte en vis vilkårlighed, når man prøver på at anvende den. Hvad er der galt? Er der overhovedet noget galt? Skal der bare fortsættes med mere af samme slags, og kan vi i så fald forvente store, videnskabelige gennembrud i fremtiden?
