Abstract

The concept of mobbing, which is expressed as bullying, intimidation, psychological harassment/violence/terrorism and similar names, that is used to describe situations which is aimed to alienate the employees exposed to mobbing from their work and the environment they are in, with the unfair behaviors that some employees consciously and for a long time continue in the business life towards other employees, and as a result, it is caused problems that there are various psychological and physiological problems that disturb and tire not only in their business life but also in their private lives. Many studies are being carried out for this situation, which is the nightmare of employees all over the world. The information obtained from these studies contributes to the struggle against mobbing. In Turkey, the subject of mobbing is being investigated in various sectors such as industry, education, health, tourism etc. In this study, studies on mobbing in the field of tourism in Turkey were wondered, and all papers, books, articles and theses that could be accessed and scanned online with bibliometric analysis were examined. A total of 78 studies were reached and these studies were analyzed in terms of their types, distribution by years, keywords, analysis methods they used and the number of citations. The number of studies carried out in the field of tourism in Turkey is quite low. Since mobbing is a legal crime, it is difficult to express it clearly and because there are periodic work practices in the tourism sector, it is thought that it causes problems in data collection in studies.
