Abstract

Technological developments throughout history bring the concept of digital transformation to the agenda today. The transformation in technology affects social and economic life. This study has been prepared to evaluate the effects of digital transformation on the economy. By making a methodological literature review, data on information and communication Technologies, R&D activities and high technology, which are one of the basic indicators of technology in the Turkish economy, were used. As a result, it is necessary to increase the production of high technology in our country and to carry out the necessary studies in this field. Thus, with the effect of digital transformation, it contributes positively to the economy.
