Perú | Propuestas para mejorar los mecanismos de evaluación ambiental minera

Abstract

En base a investigación sobre minería y recursos hídricos en países andinos, este documento provee recomendaciones de política pública para contribuir a mejorar el monitoreo ambiental de la minería. En Argentina, se estudió el proyecto Veladero ubicado en San Juan, y en Perú, el proyecto Antapaccay – Expansión Tintaya, localizado en Espinar. Los casos analizados evidencian que es necesario fortalecer las instituciones de evaluación ambiental minera y mejorar el acceso ciudadano a la información ambiental.
