Development of the Formation Mechanism of the Russian Ruble Exchange Rate

Abstract

The article presents the description of the main stages of formation of the Russian ruble exchange rate for 1992–2015 years, reflects the specificity of application in different modes of the ruble rate, shows the dynamics in changing of its course. The relevance of the study is accounted for the fact that timely and effective management of the exchange rate mechanism, not only stabilizes the course of the currency, but also has a direct positive impact on the domestic economy as a whole. The article also describes the current changes in the mechanism of formation of the exchange rate and their possible economic consequences.
