Abstract

The authors examine the major development trends and the ways to improve the student independent study opportunities in order to improve quality of provision and the teaching and learning process efficiency. The authors give a summed-up description of their colleagues’ experience gained in teaching foreign languages and identify the promising ways to develop the practical foreign language skills that are needed for the graduates to be successful on their workplace in the 21st century.
