Medical Errors in the Age of the Intelligent Machine

Abstract

There are great expectations for the role of artificial intelligence in health care, a system within which small errors can have life-changing implications. In this article, Mike Tremblay explores the potential role of AI toward reduction of medical errors. How doctors and AI work together becomes a critical feature of the clinical landscape as future medical errors are liable to arise from this relationship.
