Abstract

Little Tokyo Service Center (LTSC), a community-based organization (CBO) in LA?s Little Tokyo, is working holistically and across sectors to fight against gentrification and displacement and to ensure greater community control over the future development of its neighborhood. This article distills LTSC?s approaches to address gentrification and displacement into a set of lessons that are applicable to the community development field as a whole.
