Uma nota sobre o crescimento da atividade setorial e a desigualdade municipal brasileira

Abstract

Com o objetivo de avaliar os impactos de certos condicionantes do crescimento econômico, sobre a atividade macro-setorial de municípios brasileiros que se encontram em diferentes fases de crescimento produtivo, estimou-se modelos em painel (para os anos de 2000-2010 e 2010-2020), com dummies interativas (DI), regimes múltiplos (R) e regressões quantílicas (RQ). Os resultados indicam que a eficácia das políticas/ações voltadas ao crescimento econômico municipal requer a análise prévia do perfil produtivo local e do seu respectivo nível de crescimento setorial. Do contrário, a medida adotada pode gerar efeitos indesejados, comprometendo/prejudicando a atividade econômica que se planejava estimular.
