O impacto da mobilidade ocupacional mas diferenças ena desigualdade de salários brasileira

Abstract

A mobilidade ocupacional pode ter diferentes impactos nas diferenças salariais. Na teoria do capital humano específico considera-se impactos salarias negativos devido à perda de experiência em relação à antiga ocupação, já teorias de job-search e matching apontam para impactos positivos da mobilidade. O presente trabalho objetiva verificar impactos da mobilidade ocupacional na média e dispersão dos salários nas regiões metropolitanas brasileiras entre 2002 e 2016, usando regressões quantílicas incondicionais. Os resultados indicam que escolaridade é a variável mais importante para que mobilidade ocupacional gere ganhos aos trabalhadores, além da existência de diferentes probabilidades de ao longo da distribuição de renda.
