Fiscalização com e sem radares móveis à luz da Teoria dos Jogos

Abstract

Com o objetivo de analisar os efeitos previstos pela Teoria Econômica para a proibição de fiscalização com radares móveis experimentada em 2019 no Brasil, este trabalho utiliza o ferramental usual de Teoria dos Jogos para modelar de forma parcimoniosa a interação estratégica entre a fiscalização de excesso de velocidade e os condutores de veı́culos. Em grandes linhas, o modelo prevê para as áreas até então fiscalizadas com radares móveis uma uma intensificação da fiscalização, com uso de radares fixos, nas localidades mais perigosas e uma descontinuidade de fiscalização naquelas mais seguras.
