Dal rischio climatico alla sostenibilità. Un fattore strategico per la creazione di valore

Abstract

La firma degli accordi di Parigi del 2015 rappresenta un punto di svolta nel contrasto ai cambiamenti climatici, fondato sulla consapevolezza che gli impatti fisici delle alterazioni climatiche sono tali da compromettere l’attività delle imprese e lo sviluppo economico. L’azione della policy in questo senso e nel promuovere la sostenibilità, ha accelerato il processo di transizione a un modello di sviluppo sostenibile e a basse emissioni. La transizione comporta rischi e opportunità a seconda della capacità delle organizzazioni di adattarsi, ripensando il proprio modello di business e il proprio ruolo all’interno della società. Lo scopo di questo report è spiegare il crescente interesse da parte di imprese e del mondo finanziario per i temi del clima e, in generale, della sostenibilità, ormai considerata una prerogativa per la creazione di valore.
