Cílování inflace ? pouèení z mezinárodní zkušenosti

Abstract

V první dekádì dubna 2002 se uskuteènil 36. semináø ÈSE z øady ?Ekonomické teorie a èeská ekonomika? s názvem: ?Iinflation Targeting ? Lessons from the International Experience?, uspoøádaný ve spolupráci s Èeskou národní bankou. Hostem organizujících institucí byl øeèník nanejvýš povolaný ? profesor Frederic Mishkin z Graduate School of Business, Columbia University a National Bureau of Economic Research v USA. Jeho vystoupení bylo moderováno Janem Fraitem, prezidentem ÈSE - strukturováno bylo do pìti relativnì samostatných èástí: (1) role a úloha nominální kotvy v ekonomice, (2) teorie cílování inflace, (3) zkušenosti s cílováním inflace v industrializovaných a rozvíjejících se ekonomikách, (4) problematika operativního provádìní cílování inflace a (5) diskuze nad rolí Mezinárodního mìnového fondu a pøijatého systému mìnové politiky.
