Abstract

Substantiation is given of a comprehensive approach to the analysis of the territory’s condition by three main areas of its development: economic, social and environmental. Presented are methodological foundations of statistical evaluation of the quality of regional economic development, which are based on the use of expert-statistical methods, multivariate methods of classification and dimensionality reduction. An analysis is made of the differentiation of Russia’s regions by the quality of economic development
