Abstract

The given article not only analyzes the experience of working out a medium-term development strategy of a Federation constituent using the example of the Republic of Buryatia, but also offers a unified approach to building the very procedure of strategic planning for regional systems, which is effected when identifying the aims and basic principles of development, the system of priorities, variants of development of the economy and social system on the basis of scenario approach. Macroeconomic indicators of prospective development are evaluated
