Statistical Estimation of Input-Output Tables for the Russian Far East

Abstract

A technical approach is given to estimating and balancing of regional input-output tables based on tabulation of resources and of the use of goods and services’ resources and their further transformation into a symmetrical table. The approach has been implemented when tabulating input-output for the Russian Far East for 2001. A description is given of the system of interrelated and balanced indicators and macroeconomic proportions of the Russian Far East’s economy, which have been obtained as a result of estimation
