Valutazione delle emissioni di CO2 della città di Bolzano e scenari di riduzione possibili

    Il presente lavoro descrive i principali risultati di uno studio, effettuato tra il 2009 ed il 2010, nel comune di Bolzano sulla quantità e le principali fonti di emissione CO2. Le conclusioni a cui giungono gli autori suggeriscono che una drastica diminuzione delle emissioni di CO2 è possibile solo intervenendo su tutti gli ambiti in cui si verificano consumi energetici ed attraverso un massiccio utilizzo di energie rinnovabili. Inoltre, sebbene la riduzione delle emissioni di CO2 richiederebbe investimenti iniziali ingenti, nel lungo periodo si otterrebbero cospicue riduzioni dei costi energetici dei cittadini ed altrettanto considerevoli entrate per le amministrazioni.
