Abstract

L'efficacia degli investimenti pubblici a livello territoriale: un 'approccio d'equilibrio economico-spaziale (di Carla Carlucci, Pietro Cova) - ABSTRACT: Effectiveness of public infrastructure investments:a simple spatial economic equilibrium model Objectives The aim of this paper is to measure the effectiveness of public infrastructure investments, i.e. their contribution to local growth. To do this we estimate a simple spatial equilibrium model which accounts for the benefits and costs accruing to both Italian households and firms residing in different fixed geographic areas (Nuts 2 level) over the 1989-2000 period.
