Le potenzialit? del turismo in Italia

Abstract

Negli ultimi vent?anni il turismo ha conosciuto una straordinaria espansione, so-stenuta dalla riduzione dei costi di trasporto e dalla crescita dei livelli di reddito anche nelle economie emergenti. Lo straordinario sviluppo del turismo mondiale rappresenta un?opportunit? di crescita che il nostro Paese pu? capitalizzare. Questo capitolo presenta i dati mondiali sul turismo internazionale e si focalizza su un?analisi territoriale dell?Italia per cogliere i principali trend e riflettere sulle strate-gie da adottare per migliorare la posizione della destinazione che, pur disponendo di risorse fortemente inespresse, rimane complessivamente poco competitiva.
