Il ruolo del capitale umano nella transizione Universit?-lavoro: fattori individuali e sociali

Abstract

Il presente lavoro introduce recenti sviluppi metodologici ed evidenze empiriche per la stima del capitale umano (CU) individuale, considerato come fattore decisivo per la transizione scuola-lavoro. A partire dall?approccio di Dagum e Slottje (2000), che hanno stimato il capitale umano come variabile latente integrando un approccio attuariale per la sua stima monetaria, vengono presentati nuovi metodi di stima del capitale umano che integrano indicatori formativi di investimento (fattori individuali) in CU e riflessivi (di esito) del CU, coerentemente con gli assunti della teoria economica. Infine si illustrano recenti evidenze empiriche inerenti le famiglie italiane, utilizzando i dati Bankitalia e gli effetti dell?istruzione universitaria seguendo una coorte di laureati nei primi anni di ingresso nel mercato del lavoro e sul mercato del lavoro, specie per le giovani generazioni di laureati
