Governare la complessit? del cambiamento: l?introduzione di una innovazione terapeutica per la SMA in due realt? regionali italiane

Abstract

L?articolo presenta l?implementazione del percorso di gestione terapeutica di pazienti in trattamento con un farmaco per l?atrofia muscolare spinale (SMA) in due contesti regionali italiani, focalizzandosi sul ruolo delle reti multiprofessionali. Attraverso interviste a professionisti coinvolti nella gestione terapeutica presso l?Azienda Ospedaliero-Universitaria Città della Salute e della Scienza di Torino e l?Azienda Sanitaria Locale Città di Torino, oltre all?ASUR della Regione Marche, il lavoro evidenzia la complessità nell?introdurre innovazioni terapeutiche per malattie rare. Il contesto, le politiche di governo dell?assistenza farmaceutica, l?accesso ai farmaci e le sfide nell?assistenza ai pazienti SMA sono esaminati in dettaglio. Si descrive come il coinvolgimento multiprofessionale e l?organizzazione tra centri ospedalieri abbiano facilitato l?accesso al trattamento, pur rilevando sfide future legate alla formazione e alla gestione dei nuovi farmaci.
