Abstract

Il turismo sostenibile e la sua misurabilit? (Di Marco Confalonieri) - ABSTRACT: L?articolo esamina alcune problematiche proprie della sostenibilit? del turismo. Dopo aver definito alcune ricorrenti terminologie (ecoturismo, turismo responsabile, turismo sostenibile, ecc,) ed evidenziato analogie e differenze, ci si sofferma sulle principali tappe verso uno sviluppo sostenibile del turismo nonch? sulle sue motivazioni. Successivamente vengono illustrati i pilastri del turismo sostenibile, ovverosia la dimensione economica, ecologica-ambientale e socio culturale con le connesse implicazioni. E? la volta poi dell?esame degli atteggiamenti delle imprese verso il fenomeno nonch? dei vari strumenti atti al miglioramento dello stato di sostenibilit? (codici di condotta, ecoetichette, sistemi di gestione ambientale, indicatori, ecc.). L?ultima parte del lavoro ? appunto dedicata all?esame degli indicatori e alla connessione degli stessi alle specifiche esigenze delle destinazioni turistiche nonch? al processo logico necessario per predisporre un valido set di indicatori. Si propongono infine alcune considerazioni in tema di utilizzo di siffatti strumenti.
