Tecnologías y capacidades endógenas como elementos dedesarrollo para el campo mexicano: el papel de los biofertilizantes en los sistemas agroalimentarios localizados (SIAL)

Abstract

Los sistemas agroalimentarios localizados (sial) representan un enfoque de interés, con relación a la necesidad de atender la compleja problemática que se circunscribe dentro del marco global para el desarrollo local y territorial de las zonas rurales. En este sentido, la generación de capacidades que se crean por parte de empresas locales del sector y la academia representan una opción en térmi-nos de innovación, productividad y competitividad. El objetivo de esta investigación consistió en el abordaje de un estudio de caso de carácter exploratorio sobre los sial, la empresa local y la generación de capacidades endógenas (tecnológicas y organizacionales). De esta manera, se eligió el caso de Biofábrica Siglo xxi, una empresa dedicada a la producción de insumos agrícolas (biofertilizantes y composta), coadyuvantes necesarios para optimizar la productividad agrícola que se lleva cabo dentro de los sial. Las conclusiones más importantes reflejan una relación positiva entre la empresa local, las capacidades endógenas y los sial donde se pueden emplear este tipo de innovaciones.
