A Study on Entrepreneurial Awareness Among Students of Higher Educational Institutions

Abstract

In recent years the interaction between entrepreneurship and Higher Educational institutions (HEIs) is increase significant. Higher Educational Institutions playing an essential role in nurturing innovation and entrepreneurship. This research aims to study the relationship between awareness about different aspect of entrepreneurship and demographic profile of HEIs students. Data was collected from the sample of 459 HEIs students. Results show association with different aspects of awareness about entrepreneurship and demographic profile of students when they are classified on the basis of area of residence and type of family. This study suggests that other demographic profile can be used to assess relation with awareness about entrepreneurship.
