Abstract
Public transport systems, like bus services provided by the Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation, face problems in conventional paper-based tickets and traditional digi- tal tickets. These problems lead to inefficiencies in bus operations, like bookings being made twice and increased boarding times. This paper aims at resolved these problems through an intelligent bus reservation system. This intelligent bus reservation system has been developed using a state-of-the-art full-stack technology stack, and conditional rendering has been implemented, thereby restricting the booking process unless a route and time are chosen. students and travelers can benefit from the convenience of obtaining transport passes through this platform, avoiding queues and individual tickets for every trip. The old paper-based bus pass system is often hard for both users and administrators to use. It's not good for the environment, takes a long time, and isn't very effective.. This paper will eliminate the need for paper passes and fare verification. On the basis of experimental results, the system has been rigorously tested for accuracy, efficiency, and user satisfac- tion on a diverse range of data regarding various travels routes. The experimental outcome showed a high degree of accuracy, with accuracy levels ranging from 97.67% to 99.01% in fare calculation accuracy, thereby minimizing financial discrepancies to a great extent. Performance measures showed high efficiency in generating a digital ticket or pass within an average time range of 0.9 to 1.16 seconds.
