Abstract

The Autonomous Delivery Robot (ADR) is designed to assist residents in old age homes by autonomously navigating to their beds to deliver essential small items, such as food, medicine, and personal belongings. This project focuses on designing a robot that follows a predefined line pattern on the floor for navigation. The robot's core advantages are reducing the physical strain on caregivers (especially those with back pain or weak bones) and saving time, thereby minimizing physical and mental stress for both staff and residents. The concept is designed to be scalable for future use in offices, schools, and colleges.
