An Analysis of Nature in Ruskin Bond's the Trees of Dehra

Abstract

An analysis and assessment of Ruskin Bond's collective short story, The Trees of Dehra, with a nature theme is the aim of this study. We can also use it to assess and analyse Ruskin Bond's affinity for the natural world. This study examines some of the unique applications of the hills and Himalayas, which are the setting for most of the author's fictional works and short stories. Ruskin Bond also emphasizes the seasons in his stories, and this story demonstrates the author's love of trees and the changing of the seasons. "All trees are friendly, but some trees are friendlier than others."7. The book's opening line demonstrates how he views trees as friends in his life. He feels comfortable writing the works and other writings in their shelters. So, this article lets people know how much Ruskin Bond loves trees and the natural world.
