Enoturismo e desenvolvimento: um olhar na rota dos Vinhos Verdes em Portugal

Abstract

O Enoturismo tem desempenhado importante papel no fortalecimento de regiões rurais, sobretudo fragilizadas economicamente e estimulado a diversificação de atividades complementares como a criação das Rotas dos Vinhos em Portugal. Possuindo importantes regiões vitivinícolas, localizadas majoritariamente em áreas de interior, produtores se organizaram regionalmente e constituíram 11 rotas de vinhos, compondo a face mais visível da prática do Enoturismo neste país. A estratégia busca a promoção e o desenvolvimento de determinados locais, tentando combater as assimetrias regionais e captar novos investimentos para o turismo. Frente a esta realidade neste artigo procurase analisar as contribuições e desafios do enoturismo para o desenvolvimento territorial a partir da experiência da Rota dos Vinhos Verdes em Portugal.
