Meios de hospedagem ambientalmente sustentáveis

Abstract

O setor hoteleiro é composto por um grupo de atividades que impactam o meio ambiente, consomem recursos naturais e produzem resíduos. A busca de um modelo de turismo que combine o cuidado com o meio ambiente e o crescimento econômico tem aumentado no setor. As medidas mais frequentes adotadas pelo ramo hoteleiro ao abordar o problema são incentivos para criar maior consciência e participação dos funcionários em ações sustentáveis, cuidado com o uso de recursos naturais, tratamento adequado dos resíduos sólidos e preferência do uso de recursos locais.
