Comportamiento agronómico de hibridos de maiz (Zea mays L.) cultivados a diferentes distancias de siembra

Abstract

Actualmente existe un gran problema en el uso de semillas, sobre todo por la inexistencia de variedades criollas, es así como el mercado está saturado de una infinidad de híbridos poco productivos, siendo necesario analizar su funcionalidad. La investigación se llevó a cabo en el cantón El Triunfo, provincia del Guayas, evaluando agronómicamente el efecto de dos híbridos de maíz (Zea mays L ) (DK 7088, Y DAS 3383), cultivados a tres distancia de siembra (0.6m*0.5m; 0.6m*0.4m; 0.6m*0.3 m). El mejor rendimiento lo obtuvo el híbrido DAS 3383, y distanciamiento de siembra 0.6 metros x 0.5 metros, con un valor superior a los 13100 Kg/ha; mientras que el tratamiento seis presentó la valoración mas baja, inferior a los 6100 Kg/ha, perteneciente al híbrido DK 7088, con una distancia de siembra de 0.6 metros x 0.3 metros.
