Produção legislativa sobre turismo no Brasil

Abstract

Esse artigo tem como objetivo analisar a produção legislativa relacionada ao turismo no Brasil, entre 2008 e 2017. Pautado em um referencial teórico sobre produção legislativa e o papel do Estado no turismo foram analisadas quantitativamente 647 leis relacionadas a turismo das capitais e no Distrito Federal do Brasil. Constatou-se que no período analisado há uma relação entre o aumento da produção legislativa e megaeventos. O ano com maior produção foi 2013 e houve uma queda após os mesmos. As duas capitais com maior rodução no período analisado foram Rio de Janeiro e São Paulo. O setor público local tem o hábito de se dedicar a temas específicos, como a cidade de Recife em relação aos restaurantes, mas dedicando menor atenção a outros. Conclui-se que há sinais de uma institucionalização do hábito de reação do setor público brasileiro na produção legislativa de turismo, ou seja, atua perante demanda externa
