La influencia cultural en el comportamiento de viaje del turista

Abstract

Esta investigación tiene como objetivo proponer y validar una escala de medición para evaluar los valores culturales propuestos por (Hofstede, 1980, 2010) a partir del comportamiento de viaje del turista. Para la construcción de la escala fue primordial la revisión y análisis exhaustivo de investigaciones turísticas acerca del comportamiento de viaje del turista relacionado con los valores culturales tales cómo, a) aversión a la incertidumbre, b) individualismo-colectivismo, c) masculinidad-feminidad, d) distancia al poder y e) orientación a largo / corto plazo). La recopilación de datos se realizó en el Centro Histórico de la Ciudad de Oaxaca, obteniendo un total de 387 encuestas de turistas internacionales que viajaron al destino turísticos de Oaxaca en la temporada de Semana Santa y Guelaguetza 2019.
