Hotel Fazenda enquanto contributo para o desenvolvimento rural sustentável: um ensaio teórico

Abstract

O espaço rural tem vivenciado profundas transformações, onde as atividades tradicionais rurais tem dado lugar para novos valores e formas de produção de trabalho, entre elas a atividade turística. Atrelado a esta reconfiguração, os preceitos do desenvolvimento sustentável tem se tornado grandes aliados do turismo no espaço rural e, consequentemente, dos meios de hospedagem que passam a fazer parte deste novo contexto rural. Sendo assim, o presente estudo tem por objetivo realizar uma discussão acerca do hotel fazenda enquanto contributo para o desenvolvimento rural sustentável. Trata-se de um ensaio teórico, de cunho exploratório, bibliográfico e documental. Observou-se que a reflexão sobre como os hotéis fazenda podem vir a contribuir para o desenvolvimento rural sustentável torna-se essencial para o bom desempenho da atividade turística no meio rural.
