Modelo de negocio en las empresas agroturísticas de la Ruta del Queso, Querétaro

Abstract

Los desafíos a los que se ha enfrentado el campo están inclinando a las granjas a buscar nuevas actividades económicas para diversificar su actividad primaria y generar mayores ingresos, el agroturismo es un ejemplo de actividad a utilizar para lograr los objetivos antes mencionados. A través de un estudio cualitativo, implementando el estudio de caso con observación de campo y entrevistas a profundidad se evaluó la aplicación del modelo de negocio genérico por parte de los administradores de empresas agroturísticas pertenecientes a la Ruta del Queso en Querétaro; logrando reconocer las causas y beneficios de suplementar las actividades primarias y secundarias con el turismo como estrategia de desarrollo rural, también se logró identificar la falta de comprensión del modelo de negocio por parte de los administradores. Los resultados podrán ser utilizados para capacitar a los líderes de empresas de agroturismo y aumentar las probabilidades de éxito en proyectos rurales.
