Ideologías del Sistema Sexo-Género Dominantes del Prestador de Servicios Turísticos en Sonora y su impacto en el servicio al cliente LGBTI

Abstract

El turismo en México debe de ser una actividad que se realice en un contexto seguro y de inclusión que permita el disfrute de todos los segmentos de mercado, sin embargo, es bien sabido que la discriminación dificulta esta actividad a la comunidad LGBTI, lo cual obliga a diversificar y especializar productos y servicios, por lo que se sigue promoviendo la diferenciación y segregación. En este sentido, el objetivo del artículo busca explicar desde el planteamiento teórico queer las ideologías del sistema sexo-género dominantes del prestador de servicios turísticos en Sonora y su impacto en el servicio al cliente LGBTI, para ello se utilizó una metodología cualitativa partiendo de una revisión documental y utilizando etnografía (entrevista a profundidad y observación), como herramientas de investigación. Se encontró que en el discurso se hacen presentes tres dispositivos de poder ideologías del sistema sexo-género dominante: la noción binaria de los sexos; la noción binaria de los géneros; y el binarismo erótico y el heterosexismo, por lo que se resta la posibilidad de crear sociedades inclusivas, libre de homofobia, respetuosas de la diversidad sexual y de la diversificación de fuentes de ingreso a través del turismo LGBTI.
